Overflowing Sink Causes Damage to Home in Covington, Louisiana
These before and after photos are of a home in Covington, Louisiana that suffered water damages from an overflowed sink. Our team arrived on site to find damage to multiple rooms including the bathroom closet, bedroom, powder room, and pictured here, the hallway. After conducting moisture checks in all rooms our technicians strategically placed proper drying equipment in all affected areas. After coming back daily to monitor the drying process, equipment was utilized for five days until all was dry. The laminate flooring in the hallway was deemed unsalvageable due to buckling caused by humidity and had to be removed along with the vanity in the bathroom.
