Broken Water Heater Leads to Mold Damages in Covington Home

These before and after photos were taken at a home in Covington. The homeowner's water heater had malfunctioned causing water to slowly leak into their bathroom closet. Because this leak went undetected for a few weeks, the bathroom closet was affected by microbial growth. Upon the discovery of microbial growth in the bathroom closet, the homeowner knew to give us a call for help. We removed all affected materials, including wet sheetrock and insulation, and treated the remaining materials with an antimicrobial agent to prevent further damages. After we completed the mold remediation and drying processes, a clearance test was performed to ensure a safe living environment. Our work passed the mold inspection and the homeowner was grateful for making their home environment healthy again.
