Winter Storm Damage In Folsom Home

These before and after photos were taken at a home in Folsom, Louisiana. The homeowner left the kitchen sink running over night to prevent the pipes from freezing during our last winter storm. Unfortunately, the kitchen sink overflowed and water leaked into several rooms of the house that night. The next morning the homeowner was greeted with a big mess. Thankfully, the homeowner called us and we quickly helped clean up the disaster. In less than three days, we extracted the water and properly dried the home. We were unable to salvage their wood flooring though. In the before photo you can notice the floors began to swell and buckle from the water damage. We always believe in restoring rather than replacing, but in this situation we could not bring the flooring back to preloss condition. So, we removed the wood flooring and utilized equipment to dry the remaining kitchen materials.
